Dr Felicity Gould is a practicing gynaecologist and pelvic floor reconstructive surgeon. She has a special interest in urogynaecology and the management of urogynaecological pelvic floor conditions having undertaken three years of sub-specialist urogynaecology training at the Royal Womens Hospital, Melbourne Australia and Addenbrooke's Cambridge University Hospital, United Kingdom.
In addition to managing Urogynaecological conditions, Felicity also cares for women with a broad range of general gynaecological complaints. Felicity believes in a collaborative and patient centred approach to the care of women. Depending on the individual needs of each woman, She works closely with a multidisciplinary team of pelvic floor experts including physiotherapists, continence nurses, colorectal surgeons, dermatologists, urologists and plastic surgeons to ensure each patient receives optimal expert and individualised care.
In her private practice, Felicity sees both urogynaecology and general gynaecology patients. She consultants at Frances Perry House Parkville. Felicity also sees patients in St Kilda East at the SkinDepth Dermatology clinic. In St Kilda East, women with chronic vulvar conditions can be managed with multidisciplinary input from Dr Alice Rudd (Dermatologist) in addition to the care they receive from Felicity. All urogynaecolgy and gynaecology patients can be seen at both the Parkville and St Kilda East rooms. Urodynamics, outpatient cystoscopy and endoanal ultrasound are currently all performed in Parkville.
Felicity has a consultant appointment in the Department of Urogynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital. She has a weekly theatre list and weekly outpatient clinic and she is directly involved in the training and supervision of registrars and sub-specialist trainees. Felicity is also active in clinical research at the RWH with a number of projects currently active.
