Research into native tissue repair underway.....

The latest result of collaboration between the Departments of Urogynaecology at the Royal Womens Hospital Australia and the Department of Urogynaecology Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge UK, is a dual centre study looking at the optimisation of outcomes for native tissue vaginal surgery. This study is called the 'SPOP Study'. Dr Felicity Gould is the clinical lead and chief investigator for this study. We aim to recruit 240 women undergoing native tissue vaginal surgery over the next two years at the study sites in Cambridge and Melbourne. Participants will be followed for two years post surgery to assess outcomes. Stay tuned for more information as we started recruitment in early 2017....
